Everything a reporter needs to write about Density6 or Antonio T. Smith Jr. without spending two hours reconstructing it. Use any of it. If you need something that is not here, ask.
Antonio T. Smith Jr., Founder and CEO, Density6. antonio@antoniotsmithjr.com. US Central (Houston, Texas). One business day, usually the same day.
Antonio T. Smith Jr. is the founder and CEO of Density6 and the founder of Driftless VIP, a business operating platform that carries out authorized work and proves what changed. He is a former U.S. Army intelligence sergeant and was homeless for most of his childhood.
Antonio T. Smith Jr. is the founder and CEO of Density6, a Houston technology company, and the founder of Driftless VIP. He spent most of his childhood homeless and failed two consecutive grades before leaving school, then returned, graduated, and entered the U.S. Army, where his published record places him first in his Military Intelligence training class. He now builds software around a question he carried out of that work: given what is true right now, what should happen next, who is allowed to do it, and how do we prove it worked? Driftless VIP is that question turned into an operating system for a business — it models the current situation, acts only where it has permission, and records evidence of what actually changed.

He spent most of his childhood homeless. Between roughly five and fourteen, food, housing and adult supervision were all uncertain; at points a dumpster was shelter. He failed the fifth grade, then the sixth, left school during it, and returned to repeat it. At fifteen he was adopted. He went on to graduate, compete in speech and debate at state level, and enter the U.S. Army, where he was recruited into Military Intelligence. His published biographical record places him first in his training class and identifies him as a former Special Operations Intelligence Sergeant.
He treats that contradiction as the useful part rather than the inspiring part. The same person produced a record saying "failed sixth grade" and a record saying "first in class". He had not become a different person; the second environment was measuring something the first one could not see. A system can record an outcome accurately and still misunderstand the human being who produced it.
That is the problem he now builds against. Most business software records fragments of what happened and leaves the understanding to a person. Driftless VIP is built to hold the whole picture: what the business is trying to accomplish, what is true right now, what is blocking progress, what the software is actually permitted to do about it, what it did, and what changed as a result. Permission is treated as a live fact the system checks rather than an assumption it makes, and the system is expected to stop, ask, or refuse when it does not have it.
Density6 is based in Houston, Texas. Its platform is free at the entry tier, permanently and without a credit card; paid tiers buy volume and leverage rather than unlocking features.
This section is here because it is the part of a press kit that is usually missing, and it is the part that saves you a correction. Every line is something a reasonable writer could have assumed about us, that would have been wrong.
We publish a page listing what we have built, what state each thing is in, and the exact command or link that lets you check it without asking us. It is at /antonio-t-smith-jr/work. Where something cannot be checked yet, that page says so and says why.
The Self-Governing tier is free, permanently, and you do not need a credit card to start. The full platform, every engine, every trade — free forever. Paying for a higher tier buys more volume and more leverage — it never unlocks a capability we were holding back.
If it turns out not to be for you, you have paid nothing and there is nothing to cancel.
